I've had the distinct pleasure of trading e-mails & PM's with Chuck for many years, and yes, he is truly a classy guy.
Chuck, as well as his family, will certainly be foremost in my thoughts and prayers and I'm hoping for a miracle; even a small one will suffice.

My prayers are with Chuck & his family. Cancer sucks in any form, I know too well. But to have both problems is a lot for any human or family to handle. I wish him the best & hopefully a recovery. The human spirit does wondrous things and his attitude may conquer the beast.

I am going to he hospital in the morning. I will post an update tomorrow.
I do know that Chuck has a great attitude, and appreciates everyone's thoughts and prayers. Don't be surprised to see him at Palooza '11.

My regards to Chuck and his family as well.
He went out of his way to help check stuff out and coordinate a PPI when I was shopping for my car. I'm still amazed at what a kind stranger (at that time) he was.

Fight it, Chuck! Best wishes on a determined and positive recovery.
On hopefully optimistic side note, one of my dogs has had cancer for nearly a year now. After 3 surgeries, we switched to low grade chemo pills (chlorambucil) at the onset of the 4th tumor. The oncologist indicated our beloved woofer might live out his remaining years, with the low grade chemo combined with steroids maintaining the flare ups. She indicated the treatment was relatively new and might soon migrate to humans as it has been quite successful with canines. Do any of the doctors who frequent these boards know if there is some truth to that?
Stay strong, Chuck, you never know when a breakthrough is right around the corner.

I would not be surprised at all! :-) Give him a hug for me. Can you please PM me too if you don't mind (hospital info). I'd like to send him something that may help just a little bit to brighten his day.

Just so you all know, I have printed this entire thread and will leave it at the hospital for Chuck to read when he is able.
Visiting hours are very limited, but I will try to keep y'all posted on Chuck and his family.
