RIP Chuck. A brave man who battled a terrible illness. He will be missed. Condolences to his family during this very difficult time.

Aww, man. I'd had the pleasure of having a really cool phone/email relationship with Chuck over the past 4 years. We had so many great conversations about cars, family, cancer, etc. We were able to really bond because my dad was diagnosed and eventually succumbed to lymphoma, so we kind of had sympathy for each others' plight. His positive outlook on everything was truly inspiring.
When my son was born, he sent him a 1:18 scale silver GT2. He said he should have one like his old man. It's sitting on a shelf and every time I see it I think of Chuck. He'll be missed.

So sorry to hear. Yes, rest in peace.
I remember the first time I met Chuck at a breakfast at a Cracker Barrel near Jackson TN. It was a small get together of Porsche enthusiasts. Very nice man. Two years later he saw me at the TN Tubs picnic and called to me by name and resumed conversation like it was yesterday. Sorry I was not able to spend more time with him.

RIP Chuck,
I still have our FIRST PM. I just looked at the pics of the Dallas Ruf trip again, and I miss his warm smile and Aw Schucks persona already.
He is truly a fine man. We lost a true buddy. Only the good die young. Chuck, we will miss you.

I've been following this thread, and I'm very sorry to hear about this. I didn't know Chuck, but have read some of his upbeat and informative posts, and he'll be missed. He and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.
