The 8x18 ET52 10x18 ET61 hat the 964 Turbo Speedline. I have a set central lock (not complete) two inners rings are missing from the rears. And on the outer rings they are markes as I said 8.5 ET53 and 10 ET60 and it is also listed im my books with these ET.

Richard
The 964 Speedlines are a totally different wheel and not what we are talking about here

it is also listed im my books with these ET.
What books would that be?

The 8.5J18 ET52 & 10J18 ET61 that I cited comes from an article on the 993Cups written by Bill Oursler and published in the 7/96 issue of Panorama

The one book I thought that what I said lists your ET was Porsche Sport 94, 96.
But from the the center locking wheel I have seen are my ET I have listed. I will pictures outer tubes. I also know that friends have rebuild there 964 Speedline with the 993 Cup 10x18 ET60 outer tube.

I'll just further add that from discussions w/ 5 local 993Cup owners their wheel specs are as I stated, most have updated to BBS wheels w/ the same specs, but this is all from my memory of the discussions and I have no documentation. The Oursler article seems to be factually accurate in all the respects that I have been able to check

I did once contact Joel Reiser w/ this very question but he replied that he did not remember the wheel specs

The magnesium 993 RS wheels are 8.5 and 10. They are 1.25" and 7" on the fronts and in the rears are 1.75 and 8" inner rims vs the stock 993 RS wheels that are 1.25 and 6.5 52 ET 8" fronts and rears are 10" ET 65 1.25" and 8.5" inner rear. Jim jdorociak@gmail.com

I asked the seller from these wheels to send me some detailed pitures.
They revealed that all the bolts on the rims were slightly damaged.
Also the tyre dot code revealed that they were 10 years old.
So I decided not to bid above 1800 euros because of the extra costs.

I can't believe my eyes!.....Are those rims really being placed face down on a concrete surface without a cloth or foam between them?

I feel a little ill looking at the photo, please tell me it is a clever photoshop and no wheels were harmed or scratched in taking that snap?

Great Pictures. My outer rims don't look that good and the pics I made with my I-phone didn't come out good. And had some other problem last couple if days. In my 993 RS CS clone my #2 cylinder a valve broke of.

But looks as they but a 5mm shim on the wheel. I always thought you couldn’t do that with central locking.

Hi can someone enlighten me pls regarding the aluminium versus magnesium 993 RS wheels ? I have been considering buying a set of speedline 993 RS wheels for a long time but their additional weight over the hollow spoke wheels has always put me off a bit.

Are the magnesium wheels a lot lighter than the aluminium ones ? And does anyone know how they compare to the hollow spokes ?

Quick Reply: Speedline RS Wheels, genuine or replica ?
