++1 for Weidman's in Oroville. He had a problem with his paint booth not long ago but he's back in action.
Excellent work and reasonable prices.

Thank you very much for all the recommendations. Has anyone had experience with Wheel Techniques in Sta. Clara?

Wheel Techniques attempted to rechrome a 996 turbo hollow wheel of mine. Turned out to be a disaster. After repeated attempts they could not get it right. Apparantly its tough to rechrome hollow wheels. Had to send it elsewhere.

They powder coat and have a lifetime guarantee. I've used them several times in Los Angeles with great results. And their prices are very good, $100 per wheel. That also includes straightening if needed.

If memory serves; he is Southern California; but does Al Reed still do this type of work?

Used him several years ago and he did absolutely brilliant work at a very reasonable price.
