I had been looking for a cover for the 993 for several weeks now because I’d like to keep kids hands off it while it’s in the garage. I have had a few Wolf covers in the past (Evo 4 units) and was pretty pleased with durability, fit and finish. So, I venture over to their website a few weeks ago and investigated their “Dust shield” cover because they claim it’s their softest cover which translates to easiest on paint....and it’s 4-layer which should help with any potential “dings”. I go through all their steps to “build” a custom fit cover and it totals out, with shipping, at around $190. That seems to be about par for the course on high quality covers. I decide to wait because I am driving the car enough that I’m just not needing to cover it up all that often.
Fast forward to last Friday and I just decide to pull the trigger. I’m sitting in the airport and placing the order on my iPhone, so I need to Google the website because my laptop has the bookmark. Google takes me to the parent company website which says “Wolf Custom Fit and Wolf Universal Fit Car Covers have been discontinued and the remaining stock is being liquidated at super low prices”. I go through the “build” process again and this time the cover is $93.36 ($78.99 + $14.37 Ship). I have not received a ship notification yet, but I did get an order confirmation, so I think it’s legit at this point.
Given the fantastic pricing, I tried to order a Noah cover just in case I wanted some outdoor type protection, but after the “build” it came up as being “discontinued”. Then I just went through several builds to see what was and wasn’t available and here’s what I can tell:
993 + Wide Body + Turbo Tail = Only Dustshield is available (this is what I ordered)
993 + Wide Body + No Tail = Only Noah is available
993 + Narrow Body + No tail = Only Noah is available.
Beyond that, you would have to order a “universal fit” type cover.
FWIW, it appears that Wolf and Covercraft have the same parent company and I’m GUESSING that they are phasing out Wolf and going with the Covercraft name exclusively (again, a TOTAL guess). Anyway, here’s the link I used:

I periodically (when the grandchildren are around) use a car cover when the car is in the garage. It is only to keep their hands, and dust, off the car. I purchased a universal car cover for about $30.00. It suits my purpose.

Universal car covers are great in the garage, or even outdoors if, say, in your driveway and you're not worried about losing it in the wind. I've purchased both the 3 and the 4 layer (either Evo fabric or a really good copy) and they're lasted maybe just short of two years (that's heavy out-door use, btw). Funny thing is I've also bought nice Evo 3 and 4 custom covers at 3-4x the cost of universal fits, and they last the same amount of time! Really ...been through a number of them over the years. I just recently bought a universal from costco: great bargain for a 4-layer cover.
IMHO, the biggest reason for getting a more pricey cover is for the snug fit: for a garaged car, this is wasted money, but for a car that is outdoors, a snug fit is important as loose covers can scratch paint as they flap in the wind, not to mention they can fly right off (yeah, btdt).
And FWIW, I've bought covercraft and wolf ...can't tell the difference. Shop the fabric you want, and if getting a custom cover be certain of the fit, then you're good to go![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

fwiw, Covercraft is pretty much the only company making car covers. Covercraft and Wolf are the same; California Car Covers are made by Covercraft. Covercraft has the market covered and everything else is basically a re-branded Covercraft product.
And like Edward says, the fabric material (Noah, etc.) and custom fit is the thing to decide on. Covercraft buys their fabrics (from 3M, Kimberly-Clark, etc.) and just does the sewing.
