lol..since I and the 2 kids started playing hockey, my 993 gets driven less and less. It's the ideal time to drive the car for practices and games, since it's not my DD, but can't fit all the gear in it.

Sell it and buy a good beater with a huge trunk.

Maybe it's time to part with it.

To me, the BMW M coupe doesn't hold a candle in the looks dept. to your 911.

Your apt #, your license plate... don't you see the signs? I think you're going to be sick to death if you sell it but I'm not you.

But, if you must sell it, and it seems you think you must, I'd get the M3 in a heartbeat over the M Coupe. Looks wise, it's even nicer in a way than the new ones.

Good luck. The quality of our problems...
m3's are a dime a dozen--bmw just built too many of them. Thats what I like my M coupe, rare less than 3k made (1st gen--1999-2002). Oh, and I also own a 993 too. Both are great cars, but if I had to keep one it would be the 993. I am on my 2nd 993 as I regretted selling the 1st one.

Keep the 993 and get yourself a used MINI for a "beater"...That way you'll have a smile on your face no matter what you drive!

i'm sure if you sold the C2S, you can fetch more than your budget of 15-30K, especially if you are going to consolidate into one car (frees up insurance, registration cost as well).

i have an a4 quattro (AWD) avant and its a great DD (ample hauling space). i sold my e92 m3 (great all around GT car IMO) in exchange for an a4 avant and a track C4S.

The fact that you wont sell it even though it makes practical sense to get rid of it says that you love the car and it makes you happy.
Life is about being happy not practical.

I don't understand; why not sell the BMW and use the 993 as an all-year car? Is the luggage space really that important?

Sell it and invest in what? You could lose your a** in today's market in a heartbeat. And you can't drive an investment, plus it doesn't make you thump when you look at it, smile every time you drive it, get stares from everyone. Nice 993s are getting harder to find. You know yours like the back of your hand, depreciation is almost nil, upkeep is very low compared to other supercars. Keep it, find another DD.
