Do you mean one above and one below the mount...or?

Wouldn't that also apply to the PSS10 setup?

OK after plenty of searching I think I have it all figured out. the PSS9 and 10 does have two locking rings above the perch, but most importantly there is a 9 (or 10) way adjuster at the base of each damper, front and back, to give you your adjustment. I don't have PSS9 as I thought, but Bistein HD with H&R springs...

Now to figure out how to dial in a little more height to avoid that scraping..

Deekay911, I don't have those shocks, but as I understand it from what I've read, don't those sway-bar link mounts rotate on the threaded portion of the shock body? You locate them and then lock them by that retaining ring/collar.

Maybe someone that has them and installed them can chime in. I'd sure like to know...be it on the Bilstein HDs or the PSS10s.

Yes, Alex. You understand it correct.

I have seen this on a few cars, for my own I bought an extra set of rings and never had this issue.

Thanks for confirming that.

I think I remember seeing a thread on this last year. I take it the extra set of rings are placed on the bottom side of the mounts...so a ring top and bottom?

From diagrams of the PSS9/10 I found on the Bilstein site, that shock is the very nearly the same as the HD apart from the 'dial' at the bottom, and it has two locking rings above the spring perch vs the one on the HD (like mine).

Alex - you are right - you rotate the spring perch to get height adjustment, but mine are very nearly at the top of the threaded area, so fitting another locking ring would give me a little extra height. Or stiffer springs I guess - but then I would have quite different ride characteristics...
