Default Carpet steam w/ shampoo cleaning ?

Hi All,

Is it safe to steam and shampoo the carpet (not floor mats)? I was wondering if I'd end up shorting anything electrical underneath. Thanks in advance...

Regards,

Yes, you can "steam clean" the carpets. Better way is to use a carpet extractor with hot water. Only get the carpets wet enough to pull out the dirt, don't saturate them.

When you are done, leave the windows & sunroof open so the moisture has some where to go.

Most of the electronics are under the seats. Be most careful in those areas.
