hello to everyone, especially to Colin and JP!
i spent 1,5 very exciting days at 9m in Warrington to start this special project! As Colin mentioned the "burning out the oil from the exhaust" story i started to laugh. here's 2 pics to understand why:
i was happy, that the fire brigade of Warrington wasn't alarmed for factory fire

Believe me, I'm fighting the urge to sell my C4S, locate a nice 993 cab and send it off to you evil, tempting bastards. Must....resist.....

You obviously don't know that we have worked out how to build another 9m93 Speedster from a Coupe........

Philip-- Good news: you can keep your 993 AND have a Speedster ... in the same car!!!
P.S. You have a PM

Darn it, Arpad...
First JP with his recent Speedster thread.
Now you.
I'm gonna have to cancel my whole summer & fall just so I can sit by my computer & watch the show

I've only seen one coupe-to-cab locally that was worth a damn, it was made from a '94 C4 (one of the widebodies). Obviously I've seen a bunch of POS conversions done during the slap-a-slope-and-cab-'em craze of ~20 years ago.

What would I replace it with? If someone wants to talk retail-for-what-it-is price, sure. It's one thing for me to dig into a fully depreciated car that's got limited appeal; it's another to get rid of it for market price just because I'm tired of it.
