Hi Ben,
Just came across your post. Great work. I did purchase the litronic headlights a while back but have not installed them yet. Could you send me the link to purchase the balast/control unit ($200).
Thanks.

Default PLUG CONFIGURATION for the ignitor..

Hi Ben. I have also purchased the same Litronic as you have from same ebayer. I am in a search to purchase the Ballasts (ignitors).
Do you know which plug configuration it should have (dead center slot or offset)?
or does it matter at all?

Thanks for your helpful notes.

Hi Alex - My harness from Porsche (I bought it from Sunset) had a center slot but the ballasts I bought had offset. While I could have notched the plastic, I ended up finding some used Bosch offset plugs and changing them out. I don't think it matters though.

Good luck.

I guess I just dont understand why anyone would spend that much $ for OE porsche when the aftermarket stuff works so well. Early in my cars life someone installed OE Porsche litronics. IMHO, the aftermarket ones I put in my other 993 worked just as well. That said, to each their own. If someone wants to trade perfect halogens and serious $ for my perfect litronics I would certainly do that. Again, my car didnt have litronics from the factory or I would never consider removing them.
