Default Got the "Blues" on Saturday.

Couple of not-so-common blues spotted Saturday at Laguna for the Grand Am race.

First one, alas no picture because we were zipping up the hill was a Blue Turquoise coupe. Can't remember the last time I've seen one of those. (Almost did my '74 3.5L that I'd just converted to a widebody in that color back in '97, but TRG was basically running that color back then and I was trying to avoid the fanboi look.)

Second one, the 2S in the picture, was over in the handicapped parking. Appropriately, it's a tip.

Either/both anyone here?

I went to Laguna Seca in '09 with a RLer & his Blue Turq C2S.
We also went to Monterey's Concorso Italiano together in 2010.
I'll try to ping him for you, to see if he was at the Grand Am.

In the meantime, here he is taking center stage, on something very rare at Laguna Seca Raceway: green grass.

Probably the same Blue Turquoise then. Couldn't tell if it was an S as it was parked at the bottom of the hill just as you do the 180. And the *** wasn't staring me in the face............

You guys would have been impressed with the Mother's group there for this event--hot rods. Nothing says parade lap like a '60s whatever with big *** slicks on a narrowed rear end and jacked up to clearance the tires. But what do I know? I was in the BMW corral with Karen's pedestrian '06 325i. (I drive the 4S so much during the week I don't even want to take it out on weekends.)

I dont think so.

The spokes look softer, like the Carrera Sport, but are deep dish.

Sorry for the thread jacking....its just those rims look VERY nice.

I know of a Midnight Blue 993 that will be there in the PCA corralon the Saturday of the Historics in August...it'll be in Carmel and at some wineries the Thurs prior, at Concorso on Friday, and Concours on Sunday. Travelling in tandem with a red Cayman. Sat night early dinner @ Tarpy's too.

Quick Reply: Got the "Blues" on Saturday.
