I thought the Swiss wanted gold hood crests for noise compliance.

This reminds me of the 964 board a few years back - awash with dreams that the 93/94 RS Americas were actually RS bodies sent stateside, and that some may have come with unmarked RS engines!

The term du jour was "rolled fenders".... ah, the memories....

IIRC we got up to $5000 for charity for the proof of a Porsche silver hood crest. Eric at Bumper Plugs made an *** out of himself trying, safe to say no charity benefited that time

Taken directly from an email I received last year from Jeff Clark at Sunset Porsche
Unfortunately, I believe Jeff Clark has left Sunset Porsche. I tried to contact him a while back and received a response from someone else in parts indicating Jeff had moved on. Definitely a loss.

Andreas and I worked on the one that came with the crest for hours with no luck. Someone tipped me off to go buy the OEM gasket from the dealer and it went right on.

Ahhh, I wondered why I didn't hear back from him after my last email. Now I can't remember what it was I wanted to order. Saved me some money.
