Default Latest & Last Steering Wheel From Cars Dream (Poland)

I wanted a leather airbag for my modified steering wheel from Cars Dream. I found a classic gray & wood steering wheel with a leather airbag on Claigslist. I bought it for the airbag believing I could just dye the airbag black and be good to go. Nope. It was an early 993 wheel and the airbag was not compatible with my wheel. So, I had the steering wheel modified by Cars Dream and the airbag professionally dyed by Fibrenew West.

I am now done;

Chuck,
You and I seem to be in the minority that appreciates the ol' 4-spoker.

Looks great!

IMHO.... the four spoke wheel looks right in these cars. That said, if I couldn't modify the 4-spoke wheel I would probably have a 3-spoke one.

(confidentially) There are more 4-spokers in that GB than 3-spokers.

And we are waiting... waiting... waiting...

I went to a 3-spoke in my cab and then in the turbo. I prefer the feel of the 3-spoke with the hand grips at 10 and 2. But it seem that the 4-spoke just looks right for 993s. With the modification by Car Dreams, it was a win win.

Do not hold your breath. They will come, but only when you think they never will. The DHL and USPS tracking numbers they send you when they ship are little help. Only once out of the three wheels they shipped me did the tracking information come up. Oh well.

Chuck, thanks! Our issue is that some of the wheels are stuck in customs on the Polish side They are working on them. I've learned not to hold my breath, indeed, with anything coming from Europe. Just got a little sculpture from Georgia - 3+ weeks in transit (well worth it for me, though).

As for 3-spoke wheel, I've actually asked them to shave the hand grips on mine. I'm used to smooth round Momos and Nardis and the way I grip the wheel it's best not to have extra things at 2 and 10. However, the rest of guys actually wanted hand grips added to their 4-spokers. Diversity in action

BTW, just like Chuck, I've ended up with several extra wheels and bags in this process.

Once the GB wheels come back I'll most likely have my own leather 3-spoker for sale as well as _brand new_ 3-spoke with leather carbon fiber with leather bag and matching shifter. Maybe I'll sell this one even before.

The tracking numbers worked for me both times they sent me steering wheels (Audi + Porsche). They do sit in customs for a couple of weeks though and that's why you probably see no movement.
