Introduction and thanks to Paul K...........
I am overdue for a formal introduction. My name is Tony and I currently live in Anchorage, Alaska. My Username is Blue TTop, which goes back 10 years to an Audi TT Roadster.... Silver with, you guessed it, a Blue Top. Not very creative, but I have maintained the same username throughout the years for continuity.
My last Porsche was a 2008 Boxster RS60 Spyder. It was a great machine, but just didn't provide the engaging visceral experience I wanted.
I sold it earlier this year after deciding that my all-time favorite Porsche was the 993. I spent 3-4 months searching around the country and on various forums looking for a Silver C4. I was lurking on Rennlist when Paul K posted his car for sale.
My wife and I picked up the 993 last Thursday at Paul K's house. We drove to Yakima, WA where we stayed the night.
Friday morning we drove to the Port of Tacoma to have the car shipped to the Port of Anchorage. I really hated leaving it at the Port. It was a great 300+ mile drive that completely exceeded all expectations.
The 993 is currently crossing the Gulf of Alaska and will be in Anchorage tomorrow.
I can't say thanks enough to Paul K, who was a great pleasure to work with. I look forward to staying in touch with Paul (who has an open invitation to come visit his car in Alaska any time). I also look forward to asking stupid questions on this forum and appreciate any patience.
Cheers to all,
Tony

Congrats!! I know Paul loved the car & did a lot of good stuff to it.
You should have posted you were going to be in Tacoma, I would have shown you a couple of fun roads, & taken you out for a good beer!
