My gulf blue C4S was delivered to the US 4/30/97 and there is a notation from the dealer about a possible article being done on the car in Pano. If there was, I'm guessing it would be somewhere between 5/97 - 12/97. I'm trying to find out if there was an article, and if so, what issue it was in so that I can try and order a back copy. Any help would be much appreciated!

I have Pano back to 1984. All 12 issues for 1997. I can look tomorrow.

Just looked back in my archives.... Turns out '97 was a spotty year for Pano for me...

I can tell you what issues it is NOT in:
-May 1997
-June 1997
-September 1997
-October 1997

Between May and Dec, I am missing the other months...

Dave-- I sent a "letter to the editor" asking to confirm if there was an article on your Gulf Blau.
If not, I recommended they do a feature now

Jonathan-- Means a lot from you, I admired your '97 C2S. Now you've done it again with your Blue Turq 993 ... always looks superb!

Aside from Arena Red -- more of a burgundy -- I think Guards Red is nearly the perfect red in person, but sure can be a bugger to show as well in photographs. As fellow RLers have mentioned, it often develops an orange tint in photos. Other times much darker red than in real life.

However, thanks for the compliments: I 'got lucky' that night. This shot shows off the sunset lighting, which helped.
Plus, I think she was just beaming from being around Dave's ultra-exotic, which helps any 993 look glamorous
