i called about that car before i bought my c4s and i believe the price was around $65k, but it wasn't "really" for sale at the time. i guess the owner was going to use the car as a marketing piece for truespeed. i don't know if the car ever sold and haven't seen anything on it since.

I think know a couple of things about orange paint

The one you're referring to is commonly known as "Chevy Orange." It's much darker than the one in the photo. The C4S looks like it has the Porsche "GT3RS Orange" color - code 8C6. Hope this helps and yes, great thread

The most amazing color I ever saw on a 993 was Viola Metallic. The deepest black purple you ever saw even in bright sun. Couldn't find a good example on the web. Anyone else have a pic?
