Passport Transport, bought by FedEx, now back as privately owned. I used them for my 993TT from CA to CO. Best transport company used by far.

Sorry to hear about Intercity ... we had a great experience going from Boston to Austin last May, they came when they said they would and the car arrived when they said it would. However, I sent my wife's CLK-500 on the truck and drove my 993. Terrific drive, until I hit Arkansas, then it was as dull as ... well.

You might talk to one of your local exotic car brokers ... the Ferrari and Lambo people. They might have a hauler they use for the high end stuff. (When I bought my former 87 930, Mike Willhoit in MO had a guy with a one-car enclosed trailer who delivers his cars for him all over the place.) Or, talk to the PCA people and see if anyone wants to make a few bucks with a race car trailer. Drive down very early morning, load the car, catnap, load up on caffeine and the car's back that night.

Rob installed my clear bra way back in 2002 and did a great job. He was the go-to guy back then and is still the go-to guy today.

Just saw that it's only a 7 hour drive for you...? Why wouldn't you just fly in & drive home???
