Exclamation Need help with shipping....

Guys, do you know of anybody reputable to get my car to me from SC to MD? Intercity pushed me back last Friday to this Friday and now they just called me and said the truck in broke down and it will be next Friday at best. I want my car!! Let me know if you guys know of any options it is a 7 hour drive. I was so excited to have the car this weekend, but that is obviously not happening now.
Thanks,
Chris

I may be able to help if you're interested in flying a stranger down and having him drive your new car back. PM me. Where in MD?

I really appreciate the offer, but the car has zero chips and I am getting it re clearbraed before it hits the highway for that long a drive.

Then Demoise for sure (http://www.demoise.com/). They work out of SC, so you may get lucky with the timing. We need to have a meetup w/all the MD/DC/VA folks some time soon--I want to see that beauty in person!

By the way, I highly recommend Rob Freeman in Ellicott City, MD for paint film. He is an artist and has a great rep.

If you know a buddy with an enclosed car trailer, just "hire" him and go get it. Or rent one of those U-HAUL-IT open car trailers. Gas or diesel, a day down, motel, din-din and return is going to be a lot less expensive and quicker than a professional car hauler.

Intercity did the same to me recently. They kept promising pickup dates, and then breaking their promises. It happened 3 times in the span of 2 weeks and took nearly a month to get my car from NY to CO. Sorry Intercity, I'll be calling Reliable next time. Reliable told me up front that it would be 3-4 weeks out, whereas Intercity gave the standard 10-14 days estimate and then failed to meet my expectations. I know exactly what you're going through right now! Hope you get the car soon.
