You will be okay. In the 90's my car still blows cold. If you are a little hot now and then you will still love your 993 in a way your 996 can't give. I had my 996 turbo for 3 months. After my first test drive in a normally aspirated 993 I put my turbo up for sale faster than it could accelerate to 60. (about 4.x seconds!)
If you want a really good AC, buy a 997 or similar.

There's an opportunity for a plastic wiz that wants to develop a solution....I ran my A/C for the first time Sunday, and the inability to get more air blowing on me was the only negative.

I'm in the Phoenix area. AC cools fine even on the hottest days. 108 today and I never used the max cool button.

I have both - I love my 993, but barly drive it since I got my 996. On a hot day in traffic, I rather be in my 996. 993 blows cold 996 blows colder.

Thanks for all the info. Sounds like I won't melt in a 993. I am getting much too old. As a teenager
my old '55 Bel Air was a great ride with all the windows down. Now I really like turning the dial in my (gasp) Honda Ridgeline.
