Introducing my new (old) C4S
Finally, after a long wait for the Intercity truck to arrive, the new member of the family is here! It's a lightly optioned '97 C4S with 46k miles, absolutely bone stock and in wonderful condition.
First thing I did was rip out the 14 year old dealer-installed K40 radar/laser detection system.
Yesterday I installed new Lloyd's floor mats and swapped out the tan shifter/e-brake with black ones that I bought from Rennlister Axeman. I think they look great! I've already ordered the M030/HD combo from Gert, and I'm contemplating Fister III's or RSR mufflers. I have a set of new Techart Formula wheels too, to be installed after the suspension and alignment are done.
One amusing comment....yesterday I took it to the emissions station for testing, and the guy saw me coming and walked over and asked "is this a 911 or a Carrera?" I thought ohhhh nooooo. At least he knew to ask if it was AWD or 2WD. Nice thing is I didn't have to get on the dyno due to the short wheel base, just a tailpipe sniff test.

Sweet! Can't wait to see it with the Techart wheels, very nice.
I would say Fister Stage IIIs due to the low weight (10lbs each) vs about 25 OEM.
I would also add HIDs to your list, one of the better value mods.
It is interesting that your car does not have the Aluminum shifter and ebrake, I though all C4Ss came with them as standard.

Looks Great! Please tell me more which Llyod Matts you got (Ultimat, Berber, Luxe)? Did you remove the old OEM matts or do you put the Llyods on top of OEM?
TIA!!
TIA!!

Standard on C2S, option on C4S.

Thanks for all the kind words. I bought the car from a guy in New York who just didn't have the time for it anymore. I am now the third owner.
I'll post some more pics in the next few days, after I give it a good wash.
os993, the mats I got are Lloyd's Ultimat, in cashmere with the Carrera 4S logo (black with red S) and black vinyl edging. The color isn't a perfect match to the cashmere carpet but it looks pretty good. The original Porsche Tequipment floor mats that were in the car are all dirty and grungy so I threw them away. I also removed the loose front carpet pieces to keep them pristine, and the new mats take their places. They are thick and plush and have rubber backing, and the fit is extraordinarily good. They were about $130 but well worth it.

Hi
Beautiful car, congratulations.
What are you plans with the wheels that came on the car? I need some for my 98 C2S. On the shifter and e-brake...mine lives 5000 miles away from me but I'm pretty sure it has an aluminum e-brake but not the shifter. strange eh?
