Default rs heater bypass install question

Ok I did a quick install on the heater bypass just to see if what is involved, I feel I can just about work it out but my question is whenn you remove the motor you disconnect a small black vacume hose from the front of the motor, what do you do with that hose after the bypass is installed?

thanks

If you mean the hose which originally went to the distributer. Then do not plug that one, reinstall it by drilling a hole in the bypass. It is used to vent the distributer drive belt and prolong it,s life.

+1, but what you are referring to is not a vacuum tube.

No not the white distributor vent hose that one is pretty clear its a small black hose about 1/8 that comes from under the manifold and is plugged into the gizmo on the front of the blower tube. The gizmo seems to control a door in the blower piping. So can I just plug it?

It's the back vacuum hose that goes to the vacuum servo, that activates when you hit reverse?

Just about every auto part store will have vacuum caps. Just little black rubber cylinders, just plug it.
If you leave it open, your AC will not work, your V-ram will not work.

I followed the line backwards to the T fitting and replaced it with another fitting..
minus 1 line.. I'm pretty sure it was a T (3 lines), then replaced with a straight
piece.. cleaner than a plug!

When you drive it, turn the air on full blast, accelerate hard, and make sure the air doesn't lose it's force. If it does, you have a vacuum leak and you lose hp because that means your varioram won't work, either. Happened to me.
