Default OT: Best Mercedes-Benz forum ?

Which is the best Mercedes forum like Rennlist for Porsche?
Also, is there a Mercedes dealer like Sunset Porsche that sells parts for 15% over cost? TIA

I've found some good info on mbworld.
and I've found my local dealer, ken garff mercedes, very cheap for service. seems like they use the service dept as a loss leader to keep customers coming back for new cars.

depends.

benzworld is better for the older cars but can be slow.

amg cars especially the 55 kompressor cars and newer models mbworld is much better.

parts.com sells at a big discount through mb of naperville

don't know which MB model you are specifically interested in, but the 500E folks can be found at www.500espot.com/forums

If you're looking for something more like the Pelican Parts Technical BBS forums (http://forums.pelicanparts.com/), then go here for the Mercedes equivalent: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/index.php?

For parts, Rusty Cullens has historically always been the go to guy: http://www.buymbparts.biz/

Otherwise it's Benzworld (not a lot of traffic) or MBWorld, as people have already mentioned......

when I had a 91 300CE I found benzworld to be pretty decent, but do not expect the traffic that rennlist generates. there are knowledgeable people there, but they are not as active, so responses take days to accumulate, wheras on rennlist you can have a multitude of responses in a few hours.

I hang out on MBWorld for my 2005 SL600 DD. It is okay, but not nearly as active as Rennlist!
