I was at Glen Cove watching last year and that car was just awe inspiring! You could hear that distinct sound for MILES and he came through (visually) SOOOO much faster than anything else, you just knew he was on pace to set some sort of record.

I don't know EXACTLY what Zwart was running (or anyone for that matter), but it's very typical for them to run a tire that's similar to an Open Wheel (Indycar for example) "Rain" tire and then hand groove them as conditions dictate.
