I like the part where F owners are not atheist when they bring their cars to be serviced. Excellent article. Sold my M5, ha.ha.., well for similar reasons.

What is the Ferrari attraction? I just don't get it. I've never thought they were better looking cars than Porsches.

really? I love the 993 design, but an F355 is automotive art...as are a bunch of the older ones (250GT, 330, 288gto, etc)

I agree the Pininfarina designs are amazing, that being said it only makes sense to go with Porsche if you want a REAL car that looks great parked, and built for being driven everyday.....for those who choose to do so that is.......

Jerry Seinfeld said it best....." Its always a car to me that impresses the people inside it more than the people outside it. You know, and that's what I like... I like to get in it get out on the road...That's what I enjoy.....Not parking it in front of a cafe and just leaning on it....you know....that's not it (laughs) "

no argument there, but in terms of just visual beauty, I have to give it to the f-car

But surely you get that it's a totally subjective topic, right?

Quadcammer, I've seen your posts and your obvious love of the Ferrari comes through.

Growing up I played with both matchbox cars, and the only one I dreamed of was the Porsche. Now that I can afford both, it's still the Porsche over the Ferrari. I'm not a fool, a Ferrari is a thing of beauty, but it doesn't hold a candle to Porsche. I too would love to have one sitting in my driveway along with several other 2nd tier choices.

Also, I know these are just opinions, you got yours, I got mine. I'm just confused why you fly the Ferrari flag on a Porsche forum? Actually, I know why, you just love being difficult. There is a difference between being difficult and being different. I think you try to project yourself as different, when it really just comes across as being difficult.

So why are you here?
