I think my 35w HID kit was a huge upgrade. I really don't see any reason to bump to 55's.

I actually bought both of mine off eBay at dirt cheap price. It takes 2+ weeks to get here though. Just buy from a vendor with high volume and rating.

I will say the OEM Litronic is WAY better then normal lights with HID installed.
Output is better, light is cleaner, seems to shine brighter & longer.

Every aftermarket HID kit that I've installed has had igniting issues (random, not all the time). Usually you just shut them off for 5sec then turn back on. But still a PITA at times.

Had my DDM Tuning system installed for over 8 months. No ignition problems at all so far. More than likely inferior to the Litronics but at a fraction of the cost at only $50. 100x better than the yellow stock lights.

Im thinking about the 55W kit. Any recommendations for a vendor? any issues with existing wiring?

I just got a set from www.plasmagarrage.com. They have a very large selection and all are in stock, there are also 3 colors to choose from. Located in mich
