A special Carrera clock for the PCA
At the end of last year, I was approached by PCA's former Vice President, Manny Alban, to create one of my Carrera desk clocks for the outgoing President, Kurt Gibson. Naturally, I jumped at the opportunity and felt honored that my concept was fitting for this occasion.
After some back and forth, the Board signed off on a design similar to what I created for Arena993. In this case, I needed to incorporate a PCA badge, so I simply oriented the fan vertically, rather than at an angle.
I'll let the pictures tell the story. The clock was presented at PCA's annual meeting in February, so I thought it was high time to show a few pics.
I have others in the queue at the moment, so I'm not able to take on additional projects for a bit (TargaMatt, you're next!).

Mine is similar. Anytime I have a fellow P-car enthusiast in my office they always put a bead in the Con Rod Fan Clock. A true centerpiece in Rivi Blue. My PCA people's choice concours award (which used to be my pride and joy) doesn't get a look. I know he is not taking orders, but you should try to get one they are cool. Mine even has the Fister Stage II exhaust note alarm. A very rare option, kind of like the RSD's in the clock world. Nice touch

Nice job Andreas. I met Kurt in November at the PCA Palooza in AR. We also went for a drive, me in my RUF and Kurt in his '7 GT3. That guy is a great driver and likely surprised to see me in his mirror for quite a while. Good times!
