So, for the sake of consistency, how would you prefer it? Would you, as you state here, want the ability to criticize another Rennlister’s car or, as you state in other threads, would you prefer that no one criticize the cars and parts that you sell? Please enlighten the board as to what you think is the right thing to do.

Nice to see some familiar names here ... even if the context is a bit ... um, disappointing.
Those of us who have been here since the beginning (and before Rennlist existed on the old 911 email digest) are pretty familiar with the pattern of seeing people join up, amass large numbers of posts in a hurry, alienate some of the more venerable members, get into pissing matches and eventually (thankfully) move elsewhere ... people like Alan DuBoff, Greg Deeter, agro, mnmblu come to mind. It's when people like Viken and others who were real valuable members give up and move on that all you can do is ...

As I recall, at least a couple on your list (if not more) suffered online breakdowns - as is typical when people obsessively post on forums like this (I only remember them because they were pretty funny). That's why I intend to delete my "member" account once I reach 500 posts. Then I will revamp the show and start over.
