Nice to see some familiar names here ... even if the context is a bit ... um, disappointing.

Those of us who have been here since the beginning (and before Rennlist existed on the old 911 email digest) are pretty familiar with the pattern of seeing people join up, amass large numbers of posts in a hurry, alienate some of the more venerable members, get into pissing matches and eventually (thankfully) move elsewhere ... people like Alan DuBoff, Greg Deeter, agro, mnmblu come to mind. It's when people like Viken and others who were real valuable members give up and move on that all you can do is ...
