RS door panel
Ok found 3 sites
Applebiz. Wood. $290
Better bodies plexiglass $189
Gt racing carbon fiber $500
Any thoughts or opinions? I'm leaning towards carbon or better bodies plexi

One option is to use old panel or DIY, just cover with leather, use RS straps and handles.

I just got the Appbiz RS panels yesterday in the mail.
Very well made with foam sound padding etc.
I opted for the carbon fiber vinyl look, beaded edging & red leather pulls.I have had other sets in different 911's but these seem to be the best.
Good Luck

Those look sweet.
I've read on older postings that applbiz are wood.
By poly... What do you mean by poly? I thought polyurethan was a flexible material.

Highly recommend Appbiz, I have them on two cars. Very high quality and service is great. I would recommend asking him to install the switch bezels and the edging, he'll do a great job. I got the leather ones, they look really good.

The carbon vinyl looks great! I didn't know that was available...I've been looking for something like that for a while.
In trying to create a R Gruppe car out of my 964, I've been looking for sublte "retro" styling cues like that look mostly stock, unless you know some Porsche history...eventually I'll do door panels like that and also use some of the same vinyl on the center panel of the dashboard...like this early '70s 911 I sat in at a local Cars & Coffee.
Thanks for the heads up!
