Default Small recurring Issue with Sport Seats: Advice?

Anyone who has Sport Seats have issues with the plastic clips that hold the leather tight to the back pop out? The cover stays put, just the areas around the "wings" towards the top. I have popped them back in a few times, yet they keep popping back out. Has anyone found a fix for this or do you live with it?

Definitely terminal. They're no good anymore at all. I'll take them off your hands for $100 though, just to be nice.

Use rubber lining, such as a thin hose, and jam it in. Works like a champ.

Several years ago, after using a liberal amount of ColorPlus leather Soffener to condition the seats, I found that I didn't have to pop the clips back into place anymore. That told me it was shrinkage of the leather that was causing the clips to come out of the channel, not a problem with the clips themselves.

The leather conditioner works well to keep it pliable enough so that it doesn't pull away from the backs.

Ahh-suffering from shrinkage. I hate that. Thanks all-I'll do the Lexol treatment in the coming days since we are supposed to see weather above 50 soon. I'll push them back in and see if that helps. If not I'll try ilko's suggestion.

Mine do this too and it's very annoying.

In addition to the rubber teeth there are actually 8 or so metal clips dotted around the edge of the seats. These clips bite in to the hard back and keep the rubber channel in place.

I have just picked up 12 more of these metal clips from my Porsche centre and plan to add another 6 to each seat in strategic positions to keep the leather clipped in place.

You can just make out one of the factory installed clips on my seat in this pic.

As he said but as they're sold individually you can buy as many as you like.

How are the clips install? Is their a picture of installation of the clips? What position are the clips in so they will hold both to the hard seat back and the leather section. Please post if available. Thanks....
