Just ran out to the garage and wrote down a few numbers. Here they are.

Front - 993-362134-55 BBS RS773 Germany
Rear - 993-362140-50 BBS RS721 Germany

I would assume these are 993 rims that were probably put on a 996. Or they had rims left over and put these on a 996. I guess it really doesn't matter. These are what the wheels look like. I had a fresh set when I did the Rivi Blue Cab, but came across a set of RUF's. These were sold to a fellow Rennlister jhummel68. I have always wanted to get a set and these were for sale here in Nashville. I am making the trip to the refinisher in the morning.

Not selling the RUFS just in case anyone was wondering. I think I am going to start aquiring wheels and change them around from time to time.

Mike

1. Pretty sure that when fitted to a 993 from the factory, these wheels were the 8"/ET52 version (as Bill V's chart shows). I'm guessing the 996/Boxster version used the 7.5"/ET55 wheel with the above 993-362134-55 part #. Since the rears, as fitted to the 996 (Bpxster was 9" I believe), were the same as the original 993 version, they carried the same part # also.

2. Now you're getting it!

Sweet wheels. Can't wait to see them on the car.

Rears are 10 Et 65
Fronts are 7 1-2 ET 50

Is that what you are saying is correct for a 993

I guess with 7 1/2 instead of the 8" the ET is a little different I'm a 50 with 7 1/2 and your a 52 with an 8" at the end of the day it probably isn't that big of a deal

Please don't tell us that you are replacing the Ruf's with those wheels!!? Each to their own and all that, but that is a style downgrade....IMO.

Your car looks amazing just the way it is.

Addition to the RUFs. Not selling them just changing a look for awhile. You don't wear the same clothes all the time, do you?

the oem 993 front fitment was 8 ET52 and 10 ET65, the 7.5 ET50 face sits 4.35mm more inboard than the oem 8 would

Excellent info. Time for some 5mm spacers.

Bill do you suggest getting 5 mm spacers or just let it ride. I hTe buying wheels. Nothing is ever easy.

That's up to you, I have an aversion to spacers. Try it as is and see if it bothers you, if it does then go from there
