A get together would be great. There's a buddy of mine nearby in Mass with a C4S who'd be game as well.
Yeah I am definitely game as soon as car is ready and streets improve. I was down in Gansett at crazy burger last week and dodged a few potholes, the roads up here are even worse. PM or shoot me an email at cpdjfd@yahoo.com when you want to plan a get together.

Thanks for the info guys...appreciate it.

Been traveling on biz so haven't been able to check in.

Sounds like I've missed some great cars lately...

Yeah-the roads suck here as well. I just started detailing my car-or making the attempt. It is really dirty after sitting for almost 4 months and as you can relate, it's black. The worst color and the best color all rolled up into one. I will PM or email you. As an FYI, I am at flabarbara229@verizon.net.

Default Enjoy the search

Enjoy the search....it's always a good part of the experience. I'm looking for a wide body 993 too. I've previously bought two high miles ones and one low mile one. In my experience, regardless of the car, they usually needed the same $$ level of work in terms of service, belts, tires, and those little things that can go wrong with an 12 or 13 year old car.

The higher end guys like Truespeed and Sloan are priced at premiums but they're dealers who do it for a living. As the saying goes; you get what you pay for....and that couldn't be more closer to the truth with these cars .

I'm about 20 min's from Sloans place, he has some beautiful cars. If there is anything there you want a rennfax on; let me know.

Good luck with the search!

I believe this person is a rennlist member as well and had a thread about the car. It looks to be in great condition and love the sports seats. As stated prior this is not my car nor am I affiliated with it. I am on the hunt for a C4S so when I do my daily searches and a C2S pops up, I just send them your way.

Eric,
Good luck with your search. I bought this 95 C2 in December with 23k on the clock. After a bit of work and $ it runs great. Coming to Hershey with us in April? You might find something interesting there....

Probably leaving around 7 am Saturday near the 287/RT17 area. I'm working out the exact meeting place and will have the details by the weekend.

Really nice car, but $60K for a 40,000 mile car...never! Give me $55K and you can have my 14,000 mile Silver C2S

I've been eye shopping for CS or C4S (prefer CS though).
My price range is around $30k. (would have definitely brought up this standard to $40-45, but the boss at home thinks I'm crazy spending that much $$$ for 15-13yrs old car. She even thinks I'm crazy even considering 10+ years old car.)

How realistic is this? At the same time I'm not looking for the low mileage queen neither.
I've found few around my area in NW in that price range w/ 100k+ mileage.
Should I be concerned about the top rebuild w/ the high mileage 993?
I can perform a minor elbow grease works but that's about it.

Or,,, just get C2 or C4 and then do little mods here and there to make it look good,,, which I thought I was done with modifying cars but few of you gents have done a really good job w/ RS front lips and rear spoiler.

You guys don't realise how lucky you are. Do an internet search for 993 prices in Ausralia. Prices are astronomical and good cars are rare - had to search months for my C4S.

Don't know the car..but overpriced, especially considering the "severe accident" that ebay shows. I'd say mid to upper $30's based on what I can see.
