Default Removing center caps

Wondering if there is a certain way to remove the center cap without removing the rim from the car? I see 2 small holes however am apprehensive to wreck the cap by pulling on the cap!

I have only removed/replaced them when the wheels were off the car. If there is a way someone will chime in.

There's a two prong device that most Porsche shops and the dealer has that reaches into the holes to pull them off without damaging the cap. When the badge fell off of one of my caps, I stopped in to the shop where in seconds the cap was removed.

There is a special center cap removal tool: http://www.suncoastparts.com/product..._Code=POTEBXWH

But you can use a regular trim removal toll to get it off. Or bend a hanger... You get the idea.

A small allen wrench also works.

Thanks for the pic Ilko. Duplicated with coat hanger and worked like a charm!! Who would actually spend $35 for the pictured one without at least trying the coat hanger? Anyways, thanks for the replies fellas!
