HID Conversion Kit Porsche 993

My T-Light HID kit does not require any drilling in the headlight housing at all. All hardware is placed inside the housing, and I install both headlights in about 10 minutes. Some bulb seats can be a bit too narrow for the HID bulb, but a quick round with a Dremel or a drill bit sorts this.
I have a Rennlist discount, 110USD, shipping included.

why did you have to post that link? you just robbed me of at least $250
that guy has tons of cool stuff! i think i might buy his OBD plug, and keyless entry kit. i emailed him to discuss if he sells any fog light packages, since my headlights are already HID. I like how he includes the rest of the front position and parking lights, its a one stop shop!
EDIT< just saw Tore posted the link to his own shop in the reply above, took a little bit for my brain to put that all together. nice web store Tore!

I would definitely vouch for Tore's T-Light: my first (and most desperate) upgrade for newly acquired 993 Targa.
Nicely crafted (slim ballast is pre-mounted on bracket which fits perfectly into main housing, attached by two screws -supplied), quick and easy to fit (even for a newbie like me), great instructions and follow up from Tore.
The "drilling" needed sounds more complicated than it was: to bore out bulb hole took 0.01 seconds ... it would have been faster just to use a simple round file and probably just two twists.
I thought an excellent investment.

I've also bought Tore's kit but have not yet had time to install it, planned first thing in April. Looks very nice, though, and instructions that came with it seem very straight forward, both when installing and for adjusting.

fsm,
I just installed DDM Foglights. My headlights were done by PO so im not sure what HID they are exactly. They have a very very slight hint of blue but once warmed up are almost pure white. the foglights i picked to match the headlights were the 35w 4500 color. the 4500 color has a hint of blue to it, any more blue and it might be too much. Straight on, they look like a good match to the headlights.
I think guys have gotten 5000 HID headlights and been happy with them, but if your going for white, i would get the 4500, as they will still have a bit of a shade to them. The higher wattage (55) will wash out some of the blue and make them appear more white as well. It is my understanding that porsche OE color temp is 4500.

thanks. I will be buying the low beams and foglights kits. have anyone installed (easily) the 55w kit since I am told the ballast is bigger? that would be my preference but I read that most (if not all) have installed the 35w kit. thanks

Uh oh....just picked up a set directly from DDM in HB. However, I think I got the wrong set. Were they suppose to be H3's? He looked it up and gave me H1's. Furthermore, I mentioned I wanted "white" with no blue and he still gave me 5000's.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Curious how this turned out.

The 993 dipped/low beam is H1. My impression is that there always is a thin, blue tint in the edges of the light beam on HID lamps, regardless of the colour temperature. My T-LIGHT kit is 4300K, and it's similar to the original Litronic HID lights.
The original front fog lights have H3 bulbs.
Cheers,
Tore
