Switching to a heavier Mobil 1 oil, any feedback?

This applies to street cars running Mobil 1 oils only! I don't care about track/racing!
I just want some real life feedback, not an in-depth 20 page discussion on zddp and other technical stuff! I've already looked at all these lengthy threads, lnengineering and bobistheoilguy.... We don't need another one!
Here is the question:
Has anybody here switched from Mobil 1 0w40 to one of these: Mobil 1 5w40 TDT, Mobil 1 5w50 or Mobil 1 15w50?
If you have: How did it affect warm up time, noise, oil pressure, consumption? How did the car/engine feel afterwards? What climate/temps do you drive the car in?
Cheers,

Went to 15W50. Street only daily driver. No noticable effect on warm-up, pressure, noise, or consumption (My car doesn't consume much oil anyway). No change in the way the engine ran or how the car felt on the road. I live in Northeast Georgia...Four distinct seasons ranging from humid summers in the 90's to winters with highs in the 40's.

Ow40 in Redondo Beach? Wouldn't be my choice.
Go with 15W50 and call it good. That's what I run in mine, and what it has had run in it for years. It "feels good", warms up as I'd expect, no noise, and I've only added 1/2 a qt in the 2500 miles I've had the car.

Thanks, I don't have much on my work computer, but here's one:

Why? You should choose oil based on ambient temperature just like the manual and the design engineer stated.
For normal temp...that is usually 20w50 or 15w50 depending on the oil available.

I just want some feedback from people that have actually done the switch from 0w40 to Mobil 1 5w40 TDT, Mobil 1 5w50 or Mobil 1 15w50 in their street cars.
If it gets out of hand I'm closing the thread:-)

But Johan, that is the point: 0w40 would not be recommended or ideal for SoCal climate.

When I changed I found that there was less oil consumption, and the engine was quieter after an aggressive drive.
Temperatures and pressure are not so easy to compare because of the various factors involved but I am reasonable sure that the warm up takes slightly longer and the fan is on less, so engine runs cooler is my answer.
The pressure I have not noticed any difference. Logic tells me it must be up a fraction.
When I drained out the 15w-50 after 12 months it did not gush out like water it still felt like it had some life left in it. The 0w-40 when left in for the same period and similar miles looked well and truly finished.
This is for UK summer use so unfortunately we are not talking hot hot!

Johan,
My mechanic started putting M1 15-50 in my 96C2 a year or two ago.
The only thing I notice is that the oil runs a little bit warmer. Not hot by any stretch, but previously the temp gauge NEVER went over the 8:00 mark unless it was REALLY hot and I was driving on streets.
Since the change to 15-50, the gauge goes just over the 8:00 mark pretty regularly even in 70F temp.
Not hot by any stretch.
At hwy speeds the temp gauge is always just below the 8:00 mark.
Warm up time is about the same, if it is different, it certainly is not significant. I am near the South Torrance/Redondo border right where PCH turns inland, and the car is at temp by the time I get to the 110 going down PCH.
