Black centers, can be easily painted any color without having to dismount the tire.

The offsets can be changed by -15mm if the face is mounted on the inside.

"The offsets can be changed by -15mm if the face is mounted on the inside. "

never heard of this before, How difficult is it to do? any issues with doing this?

I have a set of LM's and would like to try it. Does the offset change (-15mm) vary by size of LM's?

Thanks!

Take the wheel off the car, unbolt the center from the front of the wheel, mount it to the back, then bolt it back on. The offset changes by the thickness of the lip that the face is bolted to. IIRC the lip is 15mm.

The process is also known as "reverse mounting." I've done these to my LMs. It changes the offset by roughly -15mm (I measured 17mm). You can also get the backpad milled if you want less effective offset changed. Really easy to do if you have a few tools and some know-how.

Mine too. I'm glad you didn't get them Mike- I'd be overwhelmed with jealously each time we meet. Oh well, the GT3 fund remains $2,200 richer.

Just bumping this thread to give you a visual on the reverse mounting:

If anyone is interested, I have an almost identical set that I will sell. 18x8 and 18x9.5 rears. Centers are almost the same color. Wheels are in really good condition as you can see from the pictures. Thought that I would post them here before they go in the classifieds. $2,200 without tires plus shipping from Tennessee. Could ship on Wednesday.
