JJ Best used to be competitive a few years ago, can't say how they are these days. Also some of the classic insurance companies might have financing departments as well, try those.

Pentagon Federal Credit Union. 1.9 or 2.9% financing at full KBB.

Yes, mine is paid for but that wasn't the question.

I've had good luck with Capital One Auto Finance - they'll do older vehicles (I think up to 80% of KBB).

Pen Fed is 3.25 and gives full loan value. Great to deal with and the rate is unbeleiveable for an older car.

That's what I had to do originally. There are a few 'collectors' in my area that always have a home equity line open for older car purchases. It provides an instant check for a purchase or down payment and saves searching for lending outfits, plus no penalties for paying it off. Really helpful at car shows when you find that 'must have' car.

Yourself. +1 save up and buy it yourself. These things can be money pits.

Yeah, the idea of paying someone else interest is a losing proposition. put yourself in the position where you are the one earning the interest.

its like renting a house versus buying a place, just a slightly smaller scale.

Premier. Plain and simple. No hullabaloo about NADA or Blue book as they go off Market Value.

If you use them, tell Elexis I sent ya and we will split the proceeds!
