Default Trade; CDR-220 w/Modified Faceplate for CDR-210

I have a perfect CDR-220 stereo with a faceplate modified by Becker, security code and a copy of the manual printed from online. I would like to trade it for a CDR-210. Must also be in perfect condition and have the secutiry code. Even trade and each will cover their shipping.

Default Cdr220

Do you have pics? Have you run a I pod adapter to it ? Why exchange for less option radio. I have 210 and may be interested

Doc, I have a deal in the works. If it doesn't pan out, you're next up.

I don't have an iPod adapter.

I am going to go back to a four spoke wheel after it gets modified. I figure if I am getting rid of the three spoke wheel I might as well put the right radio back into it to finish off the look. I don't use a iPod and the improved reception and sound of the CDR-220 just isn't that important to me in the 993.

Hey Chuck,
If you are going totally back to stock I would be interested in your red seat belts. Let me know if you're pulling them out.

One thing to be aware - the CDR 220 is a slightly-larger-than-DIN form factor, and you will need to throw out your metal 'cage' in the dash to get it in, and even then it is a very tight fit and may not fit flush with the dash. That's why I swapped mine for a CDR 210 also...

Haaaa...... I'll keep the red seat belts. They were offered as an option.

may not fit flush with the dash
I had that problem but found the wires were bunching up in the back. Try pushing the headunit in towards the dash with your right hand while you reach under and behind the radio to clear the wires out of the way with your left. It will fit just fine.
