Hi guys.
Thanks for the feedback.
I was wondering what one would pay to purchase one of these. An opportunity has arisen to purchase two of these (new old stock both showing minor signs of storage only)....I believe the original list price was north of 1000 usd. Ive only seen one or two cme up on ebay over the last 3-4 years and they were expensive from what I recall. They are a very awesome piece. CF wrapped in leather with a clever release mechanism, location for mobile phone and pens etc - a good size too (useable) and indestructable build quality (piano hinge etc). I believe the come with a Porsche leather folio and also Porsche leather pen holder/pouch which i believe listed seperately for around $120 and $60 usd respectively.....
Ive searched the Rennlist archives but it seems they must be hens teeth as there are no postings. Ive searched google and very little about these although I have seen/inspected them myself and also have the Selection catalogue from early 2000s with them in it....cant have made many of them.....have posted more sample pics below....

The buying price depends upon demand and little on rarity or original price.
you may be lucky and find the wall street whiz-kid who must have a success token.
realistically, my best guess is <$750.
Some one in aussie has had the $3500 Porsche leather jacket on ebay for months - no buyer.

I am not quite sure what you are getting at here...you are buys some privately in order to flip them, or you are buying them to use them?
If you are flipping, your biggest market would be in the US, and you are in NZ, right? Tough sell right now, and difficult unless you have a place to keep it within the US, otherwise the logistics of the border (duties, etc.) can kill it.
If you are buying it, I would pay perhaps $200 for it, given it will be worse depreciation than a car. First scratch and its half the value.
I actually think its not a nice looking case at all...way too boxy, and it does not capture the usual Porsche organic lines. But of course, to each his own.
Cheers,
Mike

Mmmm. Interesting feedback. I will offer accordingly for the both and see if I can purchase them at a fair price. I intend to use one as my prime briefcase and hopefully it will last as long as my 993 (till I die!). The other one already has a home.
Cheers
