Default HELP! Which servo motor controls left windscreen blower?

I am not getting any hot air blowing on the driver's side of the windscreen, whilst the right hand is happy and clear. I have manually moved the lever from the servo motor on the left (under the hood, close to the pollen filter), but that has not helped matters the slightest. Rather frustrating. Any ideas would be most welcome as it is tough driving in the winter here without windscreen defrosting, especially on the driver's side.

Many thanks in advance for all and any help.

Many thanks - I hope this will get the defroster going again.

If the left side is not getting hot air check the servo in the left side footwell; it regulates hot air delivery from the rear of the car.

Yeah, check the servo in the left footwell. Explained on my CCU repair page mentioned above.
Here's a more stable URL address: www.ccu.tore.bergvill.com

This is mysterious as I have already disconnected the footwell servos and left the flaps in 'open' position on both sides, and am getting hot air through the left hand dash vent - but still nothing on the windscreen. Checked the servo for the defrost (upper vent servo) and it IS working. Is there a separate servo for left and right? I don't see this on the photo posted by Stealth 993 (thank you). Which relay controls the servos, by the way?

Maybe you have problem in getting the heted air from the engine? Check if there's hot air at both sides when setting temp and fans to max.
Upper vents are all controlled by one servo, and all servos are controlled by the CCU unit.
Cheers,
Tore

Thanks, Tore. That's the werid thing: I am getting plenty of heat from the engine to the left side of the car. I just can't get it up on the window. Right side is fine, and I have checked that the upper vent servo is working, too. Is there a mechanical valve between the footwell and the window that I can open manually to solve the problem short-term until I have time to do some serious electronic diagnosis?

Many thanks,
Reuben

Not to hi-jack this thread, but does the failure of the servo motor cause heat coming through the vents? Does replacing the servo remedy this issue?
