Default Gran Turismo 5 993 photos

just thought id share some pictures i took with the CTR Ruf 993 in Gran Turismo 5 that i took over Christmas break for you guys here. from the Nurburgring. i may have also over used the monochrome option, lol, but i feel it adds a bit of drama to the car.

So how do you get the photos off the PS3?

On the "gt world" main menu where the a spec mode and dealership and stuff are, to the far left, there's your photo album. Go to a photo with the pointer and hit triangle. Click "export to xmb album" if you want to upload just that one photo. If you want to upload all photos in the album, click "export all to xmb". Get a flash drive, and plug it in to the usb. Exit gt5. Go to the photo menu in the ps3 and scroll all the way down till you see the folder with the photos you just exported. Folder should say the date of export. If you want to export all the photos, hit triangle when you point to the folder and hit copy. It should then say to the flash drive you just put in then hit ok. If you just want one photo, go into the folder and hit triangle for them individually and copy them individually.

Nice pictures, really like the 2nd to last one. The yellow bird photos are cool too in the 964 forum.

Where do you purchase the 993's? I didn't even see Porsche as an option on the dealership section. Agreed, GT5 is a spectacular game. I bought the PS3 specifically for this and now I can't keep my 6 year old away from it......

Computer game graphics have certainly come a long way especially in how shade and shadows are rendered! Nice captures!

Porsche factory cars are not in the game, but I gather RUF cars have been in the game for a while (GT5P was my first foray into GP).

Here is an unofficial database of all the cars listed in the game. They list 5 RUF cars

3400S '00 by RUF (2000, Germany)
BTR '86 by RUF (1986, Germany)
CTR "Yellow Bird" '87 by RUF (1987, Germany)
CTR2 '96 by RUF (1996, Germany)
RGT '00 by RUF (2000, Germany)

They circulate through the used car dealership. I've been working my way through the game and saving up for the Formula GT, so I've passed up a few RUF cars, but I bought my first one last night (RGT 00), and I'm keeping my out for them from now on.

How did you get to the single make race? That would be cool to try out.

I'm not much a video game guy, but my brother gave me GT5 for Christmas even though I don't have a PS3. Seeing your pics made me order one from Amazon!

Little public service announcement. All the RUF cars are available this week in the Online Dealership. If you want to pick them all up, they are there until Wednesday, so don't delay.
