As Vince said (per the owner) the engine was not the ordinary 220 engine, it was one from the F1 (?) cars at the time hence it wasn't tuned for idle.

Reminder, this Sat. is the first day of the month, hence it will be the Ferrari Sat. The weather looks like it's going to be IDEAL, high right at 70 and clear/sunny, zero rain chance.
Also, after CnC there is a AACA (Antique Auto Club of America) show in the vacinity, I'm not exactly sure where but someone will know.

PLEASE NOTE: A second car show on Saturday, October 1st
On Saturday October 1st the Antique Automobile Club of America, Battlefield Region, will hold its 22nd annual Car Show at the Cool Springs Mall (South end by Sears). Last year we had a record turnout of nearly 300 cars and trucks that represented all makes and models. There were un-restored and restored vehicles, highly modified, muscle cars, military, sports cars, imports and many more. This year is shaping up to be another great show so mark this on your calendar and bring your favorite ride. Registration is the day of the show ($15 entry fee) and will open at 8:00AM with awards around 3:00PM.

I'm having to miss this saturday, but it should be a great one and may be the last chance for good weather :-( . I went to the AACA show last year (I actually displayed the cab) and it was quite good. Mostly american iron. There was an amazing Chrysler Convertible and even a Batmobile. It will be at the Galleria near Sears. http://www.battlefieldaaca.com/
