Polish will "stain" the cloth (non-window) part of your convertible top, so be very careful near the edges.

ATE brake fluid comes in two colors: gold and blue. Same composition. The color contrast is designed to facilitate complete bleeding. When you see the "new" color coming out of a particular caliper, you know you're done with that corner.

Don't have the exact prices in front of me, but filters were definitely cheaper at Sunset than Pelican.

Be sure to check in with me or SFBanchs when your car arrives. I'm in Coral Gables and he's downtown. Lots of other SoFla members on here regularly as well... Good luck with the car...

Welcome. Nice looking 993!

Dealer is an Ok place for a key, but any of the online venders also sell them uncut.

I noticed you said it has 18in wheel option, but the wheels on the car are the 17in cup wheels.

i already searched but i couldnt find a definitive answer and i didnt want to waste a new thread on this discussed topic. IF i dont know what oil was previously on the car (reg or synthetic) what should i switch to?

edit: the car has 112000 miles, i have records that it was service, just not what was done. Should i change the manual transmission oil or would it be too risky? what would happen if i were to leave it as is?
thanks!

Change it all, & use all synthetic. It is fine to switch from dyno juice to synth & back again. Not sure where that old rumor came from.

The 993 should get 1 oil change pre year or 15/kmi, & all the other fluids should be changed every 2-3 years, or 30kmi.

No worries.

I also looked for another person, & could not find one. They pop up on eBay & on here from time to time.

I loaned mine out to a local C4 owner, who had a copy made.
