im so pumped!! the driver just called me saying he will be at my house at 11am. Its hard to contain my excitement!

car is here but the power seats on the driver side doesnt move foward, it just thumps. i already searched but i cant find anything logged anywhere. Also i did the shacking and it still doesnt budge. The passenger seat doesnt even move but the buttons dont seem to click. Also the horn doesnt work :/ all fuses are OK

Sit in the seat and pull it forward while holding the button in that direction. Try to rock the seat from front to back if that doesn't work. This is a common problem with these cars.

Thats exactly what I did. It just thumps and u can see the motor under moving up and then it stops

Its just jammed. Shouldn't be much work to fix it. The seat in my 95 993 used to get jammed every now and again...

How are your troubleshooting skills using a digital multimeter?

My seat didn't move either in the vertical direction when I bought my 993. It now works.

The work fine vertically, just not horizontally. I'll keep looking cuz whhen we bought the car the seats were just fine. I can't dedicate too much time cuz I'm studying for the mcat that I take in 2 weeks.. But after I will.

very little work space under the car, sucks that i cant tear up the backroads with it just yet because im so far back i cant sit properly in order to shift!

Seat works it was a loose cable. Now the LEDs on the speedometer don't work

Did you PPI the car prior to purchase?

Dunno what that is but I just got a 13 mph over ticket 220$

yea the lights on the speedo where not working + speed trap+ a car that you cant feel speed = 10-14mph over which is $219
