Default What are you buying your 993 for the Holiday?

I'm buying mine some Walrod bushings and an alignment. It wanted a new set of shiny BBS wheels, but I had to say no. I kinda hate buying practical gifts, but that's the way it goes....

My car has been with John, Dean and Mark over at 200 N. having some TLC done to the clutch assembly. Guess that's my Xmas present to me...

Here are my treats (just for the 4S after my convertible already had the fender repainted after some idiot kicked a dent into it):

Wevo Engine Mounts Blue (installed)
HANS with Helmet (already put in service at the last track day)
Turbo S fog lights (on the way)
Kenwood BT900 (on the way)
Used 944 switch to install the temp override (waiting for the radio to be installed next week)

well for me...just got a battery tender with extented cord and cig lighter adaptor, a Gert FPB, Euro clear corners, and the headlight washer delete plugs. Hopefully I'll really splurge after the holiday, and finally get my mid-rise lift. Everything I planned on doing to the car during it's hibernation, kinda depends upon it being suspended in mid air...so to speak.

C4S got a nice battery tender, while it sits out the winter.

The C4 is in the body shop having a lot of things taken care off (bumperett & license plate delete), new Euro M030 suspension, & new bushings. Lastly new tires. Of course a good aggressive wheel alignment when finished.

If I can find a nice set of NB hollow spokes, they will some how be fitted into the budget.

The C4 only has 2 car payments left!!

My 993 got an RS steering wheel about a month ago as an early Christmas present. It's already getting restless and has added a Bilstein HD/Euro M030 spring setup and Fister Stage IIIs to its list. Very demanding, is this car...

Wasn't there a similar thread floating around? Or was that what "you got you"?

Anyway, I'll say the snow tires (refraining from posting the pictures of last weekend again................) for the C4S. The yellow car is up at the garage at Thunderhill; maybe its present came early in the form of an AIM Pista dash/data acquisition unit? Which had only been on the shelf since a couple of years BEFORE I bought the car in '07.

Greta got a new left front PSS10, new mounting plates for both front PSS10s, and a new alignment.

Her New Year's resolution is a little plastic surgery. Some dent repair, bumperette delete, clear corners and Turbo S ducts with fogs, RS Splitters, and RS side skirts.

Koni Yellow shocks
M030 (Euro) springs and sway bars
Walrod front control arm bushings
Wevo semi-solid engine mounts

I also plan on having the door check rewelded and the front grill re-epoxied/repainted shortly after the new year.
