Might it be that WB & NB have different MS tips? Every WB that I have seen with MS has the big wide oval tips.
I take it the other MS tips are the same shape as the little stock ones, just bigger?
lol
here is my 96 WB with motorsound tips.
this car was one owner and unmolested when i bought it.
i have since molested it considerably...............
So does mine. LOL However, I think your previous post is the answer, but what the heck is an OPTIC SOUND package? Maybe the big ovals ...SEE the sound ...?
So Resident Sicko, you never answered, which tips do you have? Inquiring minds want to know. I think currently the only source for WB big ovals is a Porsche dealer, maybe Sunset?
I bought the Optic Sound package for my 1997 C4S in 2001 from the local Porsche dealer and it was described to me at the time as the "dealer-installed motorsound package". It contained the big oval tips and the MS air box cover with the chrome intake but no MS mufflers.
Motorsound tips on S bodies have the same shape and chrome finish as the narrow body 993s. A friend has the square, chrome versions on his 1998 Carrera S with the MS package from the factory.
As stated, the big ovals were a Tequipment accessory and generally installed separately from the MS package.
