While I was searching for you, I found a pair for myself. They are in grey color. Leather is good & original. Price is $4,000 shipped & no need for exchange. Should I pull the trigger ?

I can't believe people are paying $4000 for 993 HB seats when you can have the 996 HB seats for less than 1/2 that and the only difference is a couple of stitches and a curve in the back rest...

as mentioned earlier...these seats MAY be worth $3-3500 WITHOUT trade. A decent set of stock seats will fetch $700 or so right?

The only way, THE ONLY WAY, I would make a deal with this guy is to pick the seats up myself...or have another local RL'er do the deal and ship them to me.

Good luck with your search.

I'm not sure they're the same iko. I had an 02 996 with heated sport seats and the bolstering definitely seemed less "sporty" in the 996 version. Just like the hardback 993 seats lost the aggressiveness of the earlier "softback" versions despite their hardcore looks. Again, no hard numbers here just my opinion. And I have been wrong before.

I am driving a 993 and so of course I want 993 HB and not 996 HB. Keeping everything original is the key. In fact 993 HB are getting harder & harder to find now and I am sure they will go up in value down the road. Good luck.

The 993 & 996 sport seats have very little in common other than a similar general backrest shape. Much like the cars themselves.

996 HB seats sit too high after the mods to fit in a 993 are made.

Look at it this way, this is a data point in case one of us goes out to our car one day and finds the electronics boxes bolted to the floor visible............

are these 12 way power with heat, out of a 112 mile garage queen?

NO, they are simple 4 way power non heated out of a 112,000 mile car.

This guy is simply WAAAAY out of touch with the market, of course...so is L.A. Dismantler but they seem to find a buyer eventually don't they

That sounds oddly familiar. Are you selling or buying?
