Default Looking for a clean 95 993 coupe.

I am on the lookout for a 1995 993 coupe with a few specifics:

M030
6-speed
Limited-slip/ABD
Preferrably under 50K miles, but would consider anything that is clean and well-cared for.
Relatively unmolsted
Color: Polar silver, white, then everything else.

I would also consider a 96-98 993 if the ports were cleaned and new valve-guides have been done.

Thanks!

Rats, I would sell you my '97 C2 with 37,000 miles, but I'm sure the valve guides are shot and the heads are plugged solid. Too bad, I would let this dog go for $15,000....

Ha, for 15K I think I could deal with red and get the valves done

We have had several 993's and I just prefer OBD I at this point.

Sometimes wish mine was white. With the right mods it looks soooo nice.

The M030 AND LSD/ABD is going to be REAL hard to find. I don't think I saw 1 in a year of looking for my 993. LSD/ABD by itself not so rare.

Chances are the LSD needs rebuilding so maybe worth considering buying a car without the factory option and then adding a better aftermarket LSD. Same goes for the M030. This is a very easy mod to do after the fact and a 15 year old car with original suspension is going to need new suspenders and associated parts in all probability, even if low mileage.

Basically I wouldn't get fixated by details like those. Find the best example you can afford, and preferably from a reputable source. Lots of records are nice too.

As I said the LSD/ABD options aren't that hard to find but M030 option in combination is/was.

Yeah, you are probably right about finding one with the right options. I have added Champion sport spings to my Cayman S w/ PASM and have done several suspension installs so it wouldn't be that difficult. Also did a TBD in the CS...but I felt like I got lucky on that one and didn't wanna mess with it again!! I will just keep looking and if the right example pops up but is maybe missing something, I will add it!

Maybe I am oversimplifying but my car was M030 and although it only had 30k miles when I bought her a few years ago, one of my first mods was Bilstein PSS9s and TRG swaybars since the original shocks were 15 years old. Sold the swaybars and gave away the shocks.

Does an M030 option mean much more than shocks and swaybars ?

Confused as to why the 96 car would to have the ports cleaned and new valve guides for you to consider, but not a 95 ??
48K on my C4S and no issues with any of that stuff.

Because an OBDII triggered CEL on the 96-98 cars tells you to.

What does the option "M718" signify, as noted in the PCA ad above?

I was just asking my Dad that last night and he didn't know either.
