Bill, Looking forward to seeing your Gulf Oil inspired rebuild this Spring! Consider the orange "Carrera" graphic would look great with the orange wheels.

I've been watching this post from the beginning. At first, I was shocked at the choice of wheel color. Being nieve about the reason (Gulf), I couldn’t imagine why orange wheels. Now after seeing all the posts, I understand. The wheel/vehicle color is really growing on me. I think the post to add the "Carrera" graphic is a good one along with adding some more orange color to the vehicle as mentioned earlier (as long as it appears period correct). I can wait to see more pics!

Track season is finally here, it was a looong brutal winter but since the weather is finally breaking so am I
tires finally mounted and installed

I'm headed for the Gulf look but am uncertain about how much orange to use so I'm going to work into this slowly. I think the mirrors are next
