993 RS envy

There were a couple of 993's with the RS body kit too, mine and another MB.
It was a great gathering for us down under but the venue was not as nice as the smaller one by the water in previous years.
On the up side, it is a lot closer to home and a much easier drive.

the rear wing of the CS is a bit much to me. I know that it is functional, but I think it is ugly. Every other inch of the car is pure beauty to me...

With so many non RS cars wearing small RS wing, the CS wing looks more out of the ordinary. I have the CS wing sitting in my garage at the moment. Just need to find the front spoilers.

Agree, I much prefer the smaller spoilers for looks, the RS/CS spoilers do look as if they are trying a bit too hard. Having said that if you drive the cars back to back there is definitely an improvement in rear stability near 3 figure speeds with the wing on it's standard setting.
I am not talking my book, my CS obviously left the factory with the big wing, it wouldn't make sense to switch it for the more aesthetically pleasing smaller spoiler kit.

It took nearly a day of deliberation to arrive at a conclusion.....but at the end of the day I will have to pass for now thanks!
Recently I have swapped cars a few times with an RS M002 owning mate, despite the apparent differences of cage/seats/gearing etc...he cannot believe the difference in driving am M003. They really are more than a sum of their fewer parts.
Have you driven your brothers much?

Is this David W.'s car? If so he is also restoring a fantastic Light Yellow '73 Carrera. Sure would be fun to have both of those 911s.
