Default 993 RS envy

G'day ..

Not having much time to read let alone post on Rennlist these days (work!!!).... I thought a few photos taken as the PC NSW Sydney concours held last weekend might be of interest.

The concors drew over 200 Porkers ...with the new GT3 RS and GT2 RS and a GT3 Cup car on show with Porsche Australia.

As my favourite 993 was to be there ...the RS (only 14 delivered to Aus) I was greatly suprised to find 2 on the day turn up ....

My RS envy was obvious ....

Hope you enjoy the photos

Want. Muchly. (Though I'd prefer the "smaller"/Non-CS spoilers, I sure wouldn't complain.)

Would we have wanted an "RS America" version of one? I can only guess what federalizing the powertrain (engine AND trans) would have been like to an unmotivated Porsche. And until recently, yes, they were unmotivated to provide the US market with any of the good stuff.

(Enjoying looking at my faux version over my shoulder..........)

Even an RS owner gets envious when one sees the Riviera Blue CS....

I know the owner of the white one and he has had it since new .....his collection was in one of the UK magazines early this year I think ...

Around 85,000km ...~ 53,000 miles ...well looked after and serviced regularly ...I have to stop thinking about it

I was at this concours too and both these cars are stunning and very 'drool-worthy'. Don't know much about the blue RS but the white one is regularly driven in motorkhanas, track and street.
